Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Acute Patient Care Technician to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc. As a key member of our hemodialysis healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for assigned patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the direct visual supervision of a Registered Nurse or in a treatment room immediately adjacent to an RN.
  • Report and document all new and unusual incidents, information, complaints, or problems to the RN.
  • Promote and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.
  • Support the FMCNA commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAI) Activities.
  • Perform and record pre and post dialysis evaluation, weight, and vital signs with initial identification.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1-2 years' related experience.
  • Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Certification (CCHT) certification.
