Job Summary

Crown Consulting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team in Richardson, TX. As a key member of our Test & Evaluation team, you will play a critical role in planning, establishing, and conducting laboratory testing of telecommunications equipment, software, and procedures.

This is an on-site position that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and technical professionals. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers in a lab environment to provide expert electrical/mechanical/fabrication support for developing telecommunications infrastructure and constructing facilities and electrical enclosures.
  • Evaluate rack and hardware configurations for facilities and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in site survey activities, documenting findings, and assisting with scheduling equipment pre-installation, maintenance, repair, and removal activities.
  • Conduct equipment pre-installation testing, generate installation documentation, and perform post-installation procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors and clients to minimize downtime and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor progress and provide status updates as required.
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, and candidates must be able to obtain Public Trust.
  • High School diploma and 3-5 years of field experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
