Dishwasher Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at The Bardstown Bourbon Company. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

• Operate an industrial dishwasher safely and efficiently, ensuring all dishes, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Load and unload the dishwashing machine, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
• Wash glassware and kitchen items by hand, when necessary, adhering to strict sanitation and health protocols.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen area, including floors, equipment, and trash receptacles.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for clean dishes, glasses, and utensils.
• Ensure there are sufficient clean dishes, glasses, and utensils available during peak hours.
• Monitor and report any sanitation or janitorial issues to management.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to speak fluent English.
• No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.
• Reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment are essential qualities for this role.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

The physical demands of this role include standing for extended periods, reaching, bending, and lifting loads up to 25 pounds. You will work in a hot and humid environment, and it is essential to be able to operate industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
