Position: Manufacturing Operations Supervisor - 1st & 3rd Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all production staff and manage non-production personnel during their supervisor's absence.
- Facilitate daily operational activities across shifts.
- Ensure the safety, conduct, and discipline of all team members.
- Guarantee compliance with internal and OSHA safety regulations.
- Uphold adherence to company policies and quality standards (e.g., TS–16949, Quality Manual).
- Act as the primary investigator for issues involving hourly employees.
- Monitor production machinery to optimize performance.
- Evaluate personnel performance and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Supervise on-the-job training initiatives.
- Enforce production, quality, material handling, and housekeeping standards.
- Implement process improvements effectively and in a timely manner.
- Document and input labor, scrap, and finished goods to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Directly manage employees within the manufacturing sector.
- Responsibilities include employee training, work planning, performance appraisal, rewards and discipline, and problem resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution; two to five years of relevant experience or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
- Preferred experience in automotive operations management.
- High energy with a proven ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
