Join us in shaping the future. Boeing is looking for a Lead Secure Processor Architect to join our Secure Computing Solutions team.

As a Secure Processor Architect, you will be integral to the Core Engineering Team, which is responsible for developing state-of-the-art, secure System on Chip (SoC) solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement security architectural specifications in collaboration with a diverse team across various disciplines, including design, verification, emulation, software, and circuit board development.
- Analyze and validate both measured and simulated results to evaluate architectural design alternatives.
- Lead the comprehensive implementation of security architecture throughout the entire lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring that all requirements are met.
- Stay informed about advancements in processor technology, foundry capabilities, trust mechanisms, intellectual property, and relevant standards and methodologies to drive strategic initiatives.
- Conduct gap analyses and implement solutions as necessary.
- Innovate and enhance the Intellectual Property strategy.
- Oversee make-buy decisions and third-party strategies.
- Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Collaborate with Chief Engineers and Technical Leaders to achieve project goals.

This position requires on-site work at one of the designated locations.

Applicants must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which necessitates U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is mandatory.


Basic Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in System on Chip (SoC) hardware/software.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in SoC or processor security technologies, including cryptography hardware, secure boot, memory encryption, and lifecycle management.
- Contributions to inventions in relevant SoC design domains.
- Familiarity with SoC architecture or microarchitecture performance modeling.
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams through the production and delivery of SoCs, particularly RISC-V and/or ARM-based designs.
- Strong communication skills to address issues at all levels of SoC development, including delivery and post-production phases.
- Proficiency in technical documentation using tools such as Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Typical Education/Experience:

Education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited institution in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, along with relevant work experience.
