Job Summary

University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Infusion Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy agents to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and treatment plans.
  • Assess patients' conditions, evaluate treatment plans, and modify as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting a comprehensive understanding of treatment options and care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in infusion therapy.
Requirements
  • Current Florida Registered Nurse License
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or infusion therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
