Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of fire alarm systems and operation, as well as knowledge of local electrical codes and fire alarm terminologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting visual inspections, mechanical testing, and diagnostic tests to determine the cause of alarms and/or trouble system status.

The Associate Installer will also be responsible for sanitizing fire alarm devices, responding to service requests, and reading and understanding system status on the Fire Alarm Control Panel. Additionally, the candidate will be required to requisition required parts, adjust, replace, or repair defective devices, and conduct testing on all repaired devices.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, some trade school certification, and 2 years of experience in fire alarm and/or security. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of fire alarm products, proper use of hand tools, and understanding of basic electronics and electrical theories and principles.
