Senior Finance Manager, NEC Consolidation

The Senior Finance Manager is tasked with establishing financial workflows and developing tools that facilitate the consolidation of financial outputs for the Neuroscience and Eye Care sectors, while also overseeing the central NEC budget.
This role plays a crucial part in analyzing actual performance against forecasts for the entire franchise, aiding in the consolidation process, preparing financial review materials, and coordinating all financial operations within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts month-end closing activities for the central NEC budget, tracking the budget closely and reporting any variances on a monthly basis.
- Assists in the preparation of Latest Best Estimates (LBEs), Plans, and Long-Range Plans (LRPs) for all expenses that exceed brand budgets and the central NEC budget.
- Monitors Selling, General and Administrative (SGA) expenses, including marketing and salesforce costs, and analyzes monthly actuals against Plans/Updates/LBEs to identify risks and opportunities.
- Facilitates the month-end closing process for NEC, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
- Coordinates planning processes, ensuring alignment with various stakeholders on timelines and procedures, while maintaining updated team calendars and communication with the NEC finance team.
- Updates financial systems (BPC, PowerBI) as necessary, ensuring data quality and integrity for NEC.
- Crafts narratives that effectively communicate the financial story of the franchise, utilizing insights from brand comments.
- Prepares comprehensive financial presentations and documentation for all financial cycles (Plan, LBE, LRP) for both Neuroscience and Eye Care.
- Oversees the submission, delivery, and printing of financial materials.
- Ensures that planning tools for NEC are appropriate and that templates are provided in a timely manner for the submission of NEC brand information.
- Collaborates with various finance teams to ensure that consolidation templates and tools are user-friendly and effective.
- Implements process and system enhancements based on NEC priorities.
