Job Overview

RCS is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our diesel engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to pass drug test/background check
  • Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Level 1 mechanic certification
  • Able to work independently
  • Air brake experience
  • Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
  • Able to perform PMS/Oil changes
