Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating clients, developing treatment plans, and providing quality care that assists clients to meet their goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate clients and develop treatment plans to assist clients in meeting their goals.
  • Provide quality care that assists clients to meet their goals, including short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Document collaboration with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) per regulations.
  • Perform supervisory visits for Home Health Aides (HHAs) per regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, referral sources, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Minnesota.
  • Obtain CPR certification within 6 months from date of hire.
  • Valid driver's license and use of an insured personal vehicle.
  • Complete and pass a state required background study.
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing to the extent required by the position.
  • Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
