Occupational Therapist for Schools

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in St. Paul, MN, and the surrounding areas.
Job DescriptionAs an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping students develop essential skills, overcome challenges, and thrive in their educational journey.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual perception, and functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and activities of daily living
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create comprehensive support plans
- Adapt classroom environments and activities to meet the individual needs of students
- Monitor and track student progress, and adjust therapy techniques as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in occupational therapy
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Minnesota state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with school-aged children in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong knowledge of sensory processing, motor development, and functional skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
