Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to our culinary team, ensuring that our food services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu concepts, ensuring that our offerings are innovative, delicious, and meet the dietary needs of our patients and customers.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of cooks, storeroom clerks, and other support staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering, storage, and distribution of food and supplies, ensuring that our inventory is managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in food services, with at least 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Education: An Associate of Arts degree in a related field, such as culinary arts or hospitality management.
  • Certifications: Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification, with the ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire if not already certified.
