Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex virtual server networks
  • Design and implement enterprise-level environments that host financial applications
  • Identify and resolve technical problems with servers and network systems
  • Upgrade software and hardware on servers and network infrastructure
  • Integrate and automate Windows activities
  • Assist in the management of local and wide area networks, security configurations for virtual environments and networks, and installs patches for servers and network devices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Emphasis on teamwork and works well in a team-oriented environment
  • Solution-oriented and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Process-driven and follows protocol
  • Passion for leading
  • Experience supporting Microsoft server and desktop operating systems, MS Exchange server, and the latest versions of the MS Office suite
  • Experience providing desktop support, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting virtual server environments, and configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Blade servers
  • Experience managing networked-based data storage devices and tape backups, experience with Active Directory computer network systems, and experience in providing user support and troubleshooting local and wide area network problems
  • Experience in leading teams and/or supervising work groups, and certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Security+, Network Appliance, or VMware
Security Clearance Requirement:

All contractors supporting this Department must be able to either possess or obtain a security clearance of "Top Secret/SCI."

Work Schedule:

The employee will work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 6:15 am to 6:00 pm with a non-compensated 45-minute lunch. Additional hours may be required and must be authorized by your Project Manager and DoS Management.
