Job Summary
The Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary provides administrative support to patients, families, and professional staff to ensure efficient customer-oriented service delivery. This role actively supports and incorporates WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial support to patients, families, and professional staff
- Support and incorporate WakeMed's PFCC model
- Deliver patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse
- Understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, vision, values, and aspirational goals
Requirements
- 1 year of healthcare experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required - or college courses in nurse aide required
- Nurse Aide I certification required
Work Schedule
- 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
- Weekends as needed
- No call requirements
