Physical Therapist I

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Physical Therapist I, you will be responsible for evaluating patient disabilities, planning, and administering physical therapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostic Testing - Administer basic and complex diagnostic tests and evaluations in the area of Physical Therapy for the treatment of mobility disorders and related impairments
- Education - Teach and supervise graduate Physical Therapy students and/or clinical fellows/residents
- Evaluation of Care - Analyze results of diagnostic and/or therapeutic testing to establish patient goals and/or modify subsequent treatment programs
- Implementation - Select and apply current and advanced techniques to provide quality and efficient rehabilitative services
- Outreach/Community Involvement - Serve as a resource to North Carolina government departments and statewide health professionals in specialty areas
- Participation - Contribute to quality of clinical services through attendance and participation in departmental meetings and in-services
- Quality - Contribute to quality of clinical services through maintenance of valid and reliable records of patient procedures and progress
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina
- BLS
Work Environment
This position is employed by UNC Physicians Group Practices II, LLC, a private, for-profit subsidiary of UNC Health Care System.
