Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Associate to join our team. As a trusted business advisor, you will work closely with clients to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services, leveraging your industry expertise and technical accounting skills to drive business outcomes. Responsibilities- Provide various assurance and consulting services to industry-specific clients, including financial statement auditing, internal control assessments, and business advisory services.
- Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather needed information, complete testing, and respond to questions raised.
- Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Review and perform substantive testing on clients' balance sheets and income statements, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
- Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls, making recommendations for improvement and collaborating with clients to implement changes.
- Play an active role in discussions with the Manager and Partner relative to business recommendations resulting from testing performed and information gathered.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or an undergraduate degree with sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA exam.
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing completion of exam.
- Two (2)+ years of experience providing financial statement auditing services within a public accounting firm.
- Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving.
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability.
- Microsoft Suite skills.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
