Job Title: Electrical/Computer Engineer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical/Computer Engineer II to join our team at Scientific Research Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing RF systems, digital signal processing, and electronic hardware.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform analyses of technical engineering data and interpret results to verify product documentation, designs, layouts, or drawings for adequacy and reliability.
  • Develop, document, and recommend solutions or improvements for technical RF engineering problems of moderate scope.
  • Research and prepare draft and/or finished engineering presentations, reports, process studies, or technical information used for program reviews, design reviews, and proposal activities.
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain active interfaces and coordination/exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering groups, subcontractors, and/or the customer.
  • Analyze, develop, and maintain technical databases and supportive engineering.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Three+ years of experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements OR three+ years of experience working as a Computer Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements.
  • Possess a current DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Experience developing, testing, and supporting various digital signal processing and RF applications.
  • Experience programming and configured microcontrollers, FPGAs, SoC, PoM, and single board computers.
  • Experience designing and developing RF cable assemblies, PCBs, and CCAs.
Desired Skills:
  • Five years' of experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer or Computer Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements.
  • Experience in modeling software, radar signal and data processing toolsets, and RF signals processing.
  • Experience in threat system analysis, model development, and system performance assessments.
  • Understanding of root cause analysis of RF systems and interoperability.
  • Knowledge of sensor signal processing, signal detection, probability & statistics, and sensor integration.
