Job Title: Senior Electrical Test Technician

US Electrical Testing LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Test Technician to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Test Technician, you will be responsible for the overall administration, organization, and implementation of electrical testing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical testing programs for duty sites and serve as a subject matter expert over the divisions Operation and Maintenance program.
  • Manage or train operations staff to operate and update system control applications, maximizing efficiency and revising operating controls as needed.
  • Assist in the development of methods, standard operating procedures, and training programs for operators to monitor and control complex mechanical, electrical, life safety, and building control systems.
  • Implement procedures set forth using CMMS program to schedule, dispatch, track, and report MEP field emergency repair, adjustment, preventive maintenance, and warranty activities.
  • Manage the integration, reliability, and functionality of building control systems, including SCADA, Delta Controls, and Life Safety Systems.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager to optimize monitoring system performance and meet government energy goals.
  • Provide oversight, troubleshoot, and address operational problems.
  • Assume supervisory responsibility during electrical testing activities.
  • Assist in developing electrical work and project schedules.
  • Develop and implement ORM safety procedures and safety meetings, generate safety reports, and maintain related safety records.
Requirements:
  • 7 to 9 years of experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
  • NETA II or NICET equivalent preferred.
  • Reliable transportation required.
Abilities:
  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
  • Possesses good vision (may be corrected), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
  • May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
  • Tells when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
  • Applies general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • Combines pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.
  • Sees details at close range.
  • LISTENS to and understands information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
