Key Responsibilities- Account Administration: Manage and administer personal trusts, guardianships, and other fiduciary accounts in accordance with the terms of the governing documents.
- Investment Management: Oversee the investment management of assigned accounts, ensuring that investment strategies align with the client's goals and objectives.
- Client Service: Provide exceptional client service, responding to client inquiries, and addressing any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to promote and sell trust services to new and existing clients, maintaining strong relationships with current clients and developing new relationships in the areas of investment management, trust administration, estate planning, and retirement planning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with external advisors, including attorneys, to ensure that fiduciary matters are handled in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Financial Planning: Provide consultation on financial and wealth management matters, including estate settlement processes, post-mortem elections, and tax planning.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA in Trust and Wealth Management preferred.
- Skills: Strong relationship-building and business development skills, significant knowledge of fiduciary duties and trust administration, and a working knowledge of the financial services industry's trends and regulatory considerations.
- Designations: CTFA designation preferred.
