Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Neuro Spine Specialist to join our team at Blodgett Hospital. As a member of our Neuro/Spine 3H unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your expertise in caring for those with neurological conditions and spinal surgeries.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological conditions and spinal surgeries
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Utilize the NIHSS Stroke Scale to assess and manage patients with stroke
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
