About the Opportunity

Corewell Health is offering a unique opportunity for a skilled RN Neuro Med Surg to join our team at Butterworth Hospital. As a member of our neuroscience team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to our neurosurgical and general neurology patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients with complex neurological conditions, including spine surgery patients, patients with brain tumors, and patients with acute neurological disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in nursing required.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required within 5 years.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a 36-hour weekly schedule. The shift is 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with variable days and every other weekend. Corewell Health is committed to providing a safe environment for our team members, patients, visitors, and community.
