Housekeeping Operations Manager

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
Responsibilities:- Maintain day-to-day housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and team members.
- Directly supervise and assist housekeeping and laundry team members to ensure they are meeting quality standards.
- Perform hands-on housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality resident care.
- 2+ years of experience in housekeeping and laundry operations, preferably in assisted living, full-service, skilled nursing, and/or hospitality industries.
- Supervisory/management experience preferred, including supervising and responsibility of shift/daily operations.
- High School diploma/GED accepted.
- Ability to train team members on housekeeping and laundry tasks according to Sunrise quality service standards.
- Desire to work with seniors and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Competent in organizational, time management skills, and ability to facilitate small group presentations.
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
