Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled DC Network Strategy Manager to play a pivotal role in developing and executing the distribution center network strategy, ensuring maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction through innovative warehouse solutions and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with operational leadership, sales teams, and senior management to align our network strategy with customer needs, e-commerce initiatives, and overall growth objectives.
- Monitor network capacity, conduct comprehensive long-range capital planning, and optimize the distribution center network to meet future demands.
- Lead a team, develop roadmaps for network change, and foster a motivated and engaged workforce to drive organizational success.
- Develop system-wide capacity and network planning efforts, identifying strategic opportunities based on company initiatives.
- Create accurate distribution center capacity reports and project future capacity needs to develop network expansion plans.
- Evaluate current operations and identify opportunities for strategic improvements.
- Monitor and analyze competitor business practices and technological advances to identify competitive advantages.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business preferred; other applicable degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
- 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting complex warehouse systems.
- 3 or more years of leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of distribution center operations and inventory management best practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to advocate for and present recommendations to executive leadership.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, capable of translating strategy into an executable plan.
