Job Summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Performance Improvement Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality care is monitored and continuously improved.

The Performance Improvement Director will serve as a liaison to department directors and administration, facilitating the medical staff components of the program in conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordination of the facility-wide Performance Improvement Program.
  • Planning and chairing the PI function and reporting findings and activities to the Medical Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees.
  • Assistance in maintaining ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the facility.
  • Assistance provided to managers and leadership in establishing best practices based on research and data analysis.
  • Promoting, planning, designing, coordinating and evaluating training and educational activities for all staff.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or graduate of an accredited nursing program. MSN preferred.
  • Three (3) years clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population, with prior management and training experience to assure an understanding of systems management, time management, and staff development.
  • Advanced knowledge in psychiatric treatment theory and practice.
