As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our solution architects and senior instructional designers to design and develop performance-driven learning solutions that drive behavior change. Your expertise in instructional design and adult learning methodology will be invaluable in creating tailored solutions that meet our clients' unique needs.

With a strong understanding of Learning Experience Design (LxD) and visual design, you'll be able to create compelling learning assets that resonate with our clients' audiences. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will ensure that our solutions are not only effective but also efficient.

About the Role

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing learning assets that align with solutions across all modalities, meeting learning objectives, and improving performance. You'll ensure that custom business performance solutions deliver high-quality, engaging, and effective learning that drives behavior change and aligns with our clients' business needs and priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying sound instructional design processes and adult learning methodology to plan, design, and develop performance-driven learning solutions that drive behavior change.
  • Collaborating with Solution Architects and Senior Instructional Designers in program design and measurement strategies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Solution Design, Solution Systems Design, English, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or commensurate experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in instructional design, instructional technology, or training and education.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of Learning Experience Design (LxD) and visual design, including proficiency in PowerPoint.

A background in the life sciences industry and/or designing learning solutions in support of sales performance initiatives is highly preferred.

Estimated salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Please note that this is a 1099 contract position, and you'll be required to work on a project basis. Travel may be necessary for client meetings.
