Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Springfield, OH

Job Overview and Key Duties:

As a Process Engineer at IPL, you will be responsible for managing the injection molding process to ensure high-quality products and efficient production. Your duties will include:

  • Providing hands-on technical assistance and leadership to the molding department to meet production goals.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to drive molding process improvements, including Performance KPIs and scrap reduction.
  • Documenting and maintaining mold process sheets/masters.
  • Reviewing and updating production maintenance procedures and supporting technicians through training.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate ideas and execute changes related to cost reduction while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Engineering or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior work in a manufacturing environment, a plus.
  • Proficient in data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, SQL) and MS Project or similar project management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, complete projects in a timely manner, and maintain a high degree of detail and accuracy.
