Position Overview:
As a key member of our finance team, the Principal Finance Analyst / Senior Principal Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. This position is integral to the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) Financial Planning and Reporting Organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Forecasting Leadership:**
- Drive the forecasting process with a focus on precision and reliability.

2. **Economic Analysis:**
- Conduct comprehensive economic research and analyses, examining factors such as return rates, depreciation, working capital, and investment comparisons through detailed profit and loss assessments.

3. **Financial Reporting:**
- Oversee monthly forecasts and provide status updates related to income statements, awards, and backlog.
- Prepare rolling forecast deliverables and variance reports to ensure financial accuracy.

4. **EAC Management:**
- Ensure timely completion of financial deliverables associated with quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC).
- Prepare and validate the Division EAC scorecard report, ensuring alignment with profit plans.

5. **Backlog Validation:**
- Lead annual reviews of backlog adjustments and ensure accuracy in total division backlog.

6. **Process Improvement:**
- Continuously evaluate and enhance financial reporting processes to drive efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:
For Principal Finance Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in financial analysis or related fields; a Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in SAP HANA or SAP S/4 Hana.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Macros, Pivot tables, and V-Lookups.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance; US citizenship is required.

For Senior Principal Finance Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in financial analysis or related fields; a Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in SAP HANA or SAP S/4 Hana.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Macros, Pivot tables, and V-Lookups.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance; US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret level security clearance.
- Experience with Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range:
$84,600 - $157,300
