About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our team at Flowserve. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for supporting our local accounting and finance structure, working closely with operations and other facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review month-end financial reports, including inventory and accounts receivable reconciliations
  • Perform project accounting, including monthly review of margins and processing
  • Conduct sales and margin analysis to inform business decisions
  • Process month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, and recharges
  • Manage fixed asset accounting and reconcile month-end bookings
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain standard costing system
  • Provide data analysis and insights on cost and manufacturing within the business
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong cost accounting knowledge and experience
  • General knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office products
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Systems knowledge: Oracle, BPC, SAP
