Senior Commercial Construction Estimator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team at gpac. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards, as well as excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and related documents.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to fully understand the scope of the project.
* Solicit and review subcontractor and vendor bids, ensuring accurate pricing and scope coverage.
* Develop project timelines and budgets based on estimates and collaborate with the team to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
* Monitor cost trends and provide suggestions for cost-saving alternatives.
* Maintain detailed and organized records of all estimates and correspondence.
* Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects.
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
* Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, or similar).
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
