About the Role

Aerospace Welding Minneapolis, Inc is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of manufacturing, including estimating, process development, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate time and costs for manufacturing processes
  • Review customer specifications and drawings to determine manufacturing requirements
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products and continuous improvement of existing products
  • Support quality engineering functions to ensure new product introduction meets quality standards
  • Work with shop floor employees to resolve manufacturing challenges and develop efficient processes
  • Write work instructions and internal processes
  • Consult with customers and manage new product development, including timelines
  • Work with suppliers to meet customer needs
  • Develop quality control plans to ensure part conformity
  • Support quality engineers with programming of CMM equipment for new product introduction
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Solidworks, and ERP systems (Epicor Vista preferred)
  • Machine operating experience and programming of CNC machining and bending equipment
  • Adaptability, strategic working relationships, continuous learning, and initiative
What We Offer

A competitive compensation and benefits package, including salary range of $70,000 - $85,000.
