About the Role

At Safe Fleet, we're redefining what safety means for fleets of every type. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be an integral member of our Engineering and Production Team, responsible for designing and implementing Lean Manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize operational efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization, ensuring employee safety.
  • Determine parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals, adhering to product and part specifications.
  • Familiarize yourself with various field concepts, practices, and procedures, performing complex tasks.
  • Other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical field.
  • At least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a machine shop.
  • Experience with 3-D modeling systems, such as SolidWorks, and proven track record using data analysis tools.
  • Competency with Microsoft productivity tools, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Mechanical aptitude and training in Safety, Quality, and Lean Manufacturing.

  • This is a hands-on role, with frequent standing, reaching, walking, lifting, and talking.
