Job Summary

Warren Village Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our team at the Alameda location. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with Colorado Early Learning and Development Guidelines, Creative Curriculum, and Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework.
  • Provide individualized instruction and adapt curriculum for developmental delays, ESL learners, etc.
  • Incorporate play- and inquiry-based learning.
  • Nurture and build positive relationships with children.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • One year of verifiable experience working with children ages 0-12, including lesson planning.
  • Ability to meet at least one of the qualifications specified by the EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER QUALIFICATION PATHWAY CHART.
  • Willingness to undergo and pass background checks as required by state law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in early childhood education or a closely related field.
  • 3 years of verifiable teaching experience in early childhood education, including lesson planning.
  • Lead teacher experience and an Early Childhood Professional Credential of 3 or above.
  • Proficiency in a second language, ideally Spanish.
  • Experience with culturally diverse populations.
  • Ability to meet Head Start Qualification review requirements for Head Start classrooms.
  • CDL licensure (if not licensed, a willingness to become licensed).
  • Willingness to become CPR/First Aid certified.
  • Ability to clear a TB test.
