Job Title: Master Teacher

The University of Denver is seeking a highly qualified Master Teacher to join our team at the Fisher Early Learning Center. As a Master Teacher, you will be responsible for directing the development and implementation of the classroom environment, ensuring the cognitive, social-emotional, physical, language, and communication development of the children within the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curriculum aligned with Fisher's approach to early childhood education
  • Supervise and mentor teaching team members
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children
  • Cultivate and contribute to a professional and collaborative atmosphere in the classroom and program
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in ECE or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience working with children
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Four (4) or more years classroom experience in a NAEYC accredited early childhood group setting
  • Knowledge and experience working with children who have special needs
