About the Role

SSM Health is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, equipment, and associated systems.

Job Responsibilities
  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and repairs to ensure optimal performance of facilities, equipment, and systems.
  • Repair and Replacement: Identify and request parts and components needed to complete tasks, working with vendors, contractors, and factory representatives as necessary.
  • Basic Plumbing and Electrical Repairs: Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs, including changing light bulbs, replacing ballasts, and installing light fixtures.
  • Carpentry and Construction Projects: Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including debris/trash removal, heavy lifting/moving of materials and equipment, floor-sweeping, and material storage.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Two years' experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Skillset: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Compensation and Work Environment

This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $45,000-$60,000, depending on experience.
