Job Title: Child Therapist LMHC(A)/LMFT(A)

We are seeking a skilled Child Therapist to join our team at Optum. As a Child Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in an in-person, office-based environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients, including screening and assessing patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders. You will also provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using evidence-based methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.

Responsibilities:
  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using evidence-based methods
  • Work with patients in person and telehealth
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting
  • Experience with health psychology
  • Experience working with children or adolescents
  • Proven ability to work with patients in person and telehealth
