We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Therapist LMHC(A)/LMFT(A) to join our team at OptumCare. As an Independent Licensed Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing direct clinical services to patients in an in-person, office-based environment.

About the Role

This position is within our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization, which provides a variety of behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.

Responsibilities
  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using evidence-based methods
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, as well as provide medication management and other interventions as needed
Requirements
  • Clear and active LICSW, LMFT or LMHC license in the state of Rhode Island
  • 2+ years of clinical experience treating patients with behavioral health conditions
  • Experience working with children or adolescents
  • Proven ability to work with patients in person and telehealth
  • Ability to work a hybrid role (2-3 days remote and office based)
