Water Resources Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a Water Resources Engineer at HDR, you will be responsible for providing project engineering and task management, conducting hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, and designing stormwater collection systems. You will also be responsible for collecting, assimilating, and presenting data in reports, memos, and public forums, as well as leading the production of design calculations and technical reports.
Key Responsibilities- Provide project engineering and task management
- Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
- Design stormwater collection systems
- Collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos, and public forums
- Lead the production of design calculations and technical reports
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources engineering projects
- PE license
- Experience with HEC-1, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, GEO-RAS, and storm drain system analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field

CompensationThe expected compensation range for this position is $78,001 - $126,605 annually/hourly, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
