Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team and provide support and additional bandwidth for new and upcoming work. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll lead and manage multi-disciplinary and civil-related projects, work with and mentor mid and junior engineers, and lead the preparation of contract documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary and civil-related projects
  • Work with and mentor mid and junior engineers
  • Lead the preparation of contract documents
  • Develop plan drawings, technical specifications, design documentation reports, bid quantities, and construction cost estimates
  • Redline plan drawings and coordinate with AutoCAD drafters and Civil 3D designers
  • Perform site visits to confirm field conditions
  • Perform engineering assignments that require critical thinking and creativity to address unique elements with limited or no specific code-based guidance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Professional registration or license
  • Experience preparing designs utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Field experience related to civil construction
  • Experience related to water resources projects
  • Experience related to design of canals

The expected compensation range for this position is $111,000 to $159,060 annually, depending on skills, experience, education and geographical location.
