Night Supervisor Job Description

The Palace Group is seeking a skilled Night Supervisor to join our team at Palace at Coral Gables, a luxury independent living community for active adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate clinical care and provide administrative guidance to staff
  • Supervise nursing personnel and ensure resident needs are met
  • Participate in hiring, directing, and assigning nursing staff
  • Counsel and evaluate nursing personnel performance
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in developing nursing services objectives and policies
  • Assess residents' care needs and plan interventions to maximize their abilities
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  • Supervise and maintain accurate records for each resident

Requirements:

  • 1 year of nursing management experience preferred
  • Previous experience in long-term care preferred
  • Current licensure as a Florida RN or LPN
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Spanish preferred
  • Basic math skills required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Polite, responsible, self-motivated, punctual, resourceful, and detail-oriented
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as a team member
