About the Role

Spartan Construction Management (SCM) is a nationwide Construction Management firm and General Contractor constructing for both Spartan Investment Group and external clients. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our team and support the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage ground up projects and expansions to existing properties for SCM
  • Oversee subcontractors in each discipline, including civil, structural concrete, paving, wood and metal frame construction, electrical, and interior finishes
  • Support the project schedule and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Contribute to the team's goal of 10% EBITDA
  • Maintain and promote SCM's Net Promoter Score of 52+ with all stakeholders
Requirements
  • 2-3+ years of experience in commercial construction
  • Drive to learn and do as much as possible in an entrepreneurial setting
  • Ability to use one's own autonomy and creativity to be macro managed with mentorship
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent Leadership Skills
  • Excellent Ability to build and maintain systems and processes
  • Ability to navigate a high growth environment
