Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description

At Interim HealthCare, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases in their homes
  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating, and nutritional intake
  • Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document any changes
  • Work collaboratively with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient's care plan is followed
  • Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or medical equipment
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Current Colorado CNA license in good standing
  • CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
  • At least six (6) months of recent healthcare experience
  • Must be willing to travel to surrounding areas
