Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician - General Radiologist to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching, and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Education: Provide training and mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Radiology.
  • Research and Development: Collaborate with other clinical departments to foster interdisciplinary research and advance medical knowledge.
  • Service and Administration: Participate in academic service-related activities, including committee work, professional growth, and other assignments.
  • Clinical Practice: Provide high-quality, sub-specialized imaging interpretations and clinical care, as well as perform state-of-the-art image-guided procedures.
Requirements
  • Certification and Licensure: ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination, and a current license to practice medicine in Virginia or the ability to qualify for licensure.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Experience as a general diagnostic radiologist in a high-volume radiology department, with a commitment to fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging, Emergency Radiology, Neuroradiology, or MSK.
