Primary Objective of the Role: The Department of Radiology at the Commonwealth of Virginia is actively seeking candidates for a full-time faculty role within the Division of Diagnostic Radiology.

Key Responsibilities:
Education - Deliver instruction to medical students, residents, and fellows participating in rotations through the Department of Radiology. Research - Foster collaborative relationships with other clinical departments to enhance interdisciplinary research initiatives. Service - Engage in academic service-related activities, including committee work at the college, school, and departmental levels, as well as professional development assignments. Clinical Duties - Provide superior, specialized imaging evaluations and clinical care, along with performing advanced, state-of-the-art image-guided procedures to support referring physicians and patients. Essential Qualifications:
Certification from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or proof of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination; Experience as a general diagnostic radiologist in a high-volume radiology setting; Demonstrated experience in fostering a diverse environment among faculty, staff, and students, or a commitment to do so; A current medical license to practice in Virginia or the ability to obtain licensure; Eligibility for permanent employment in the United States. Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging, Emergency Radiology, Neuroradiology, or Musculoskeletal Radiology.
