Position Overview:
In the role of Senior AXIOM Developer at our international investment bank, you will be pivotal in advancing and sustaining our regulatory reporting framework. AXIOM plays a vital role in our operations, ensuring precise and timely submissions to regulatory bodies. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on utilizing technology to efficiently meet regulatory standards while maintaining data integrity and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the current environment and provide insights on logic and workflows.
- Design and implement AXIOM-related workflows, enhancing processes through logic and shortcuts.
- Engage in both positive and regression testing to guarantee effective implementation.
- Investigate and analyze discrepancies in Regulatory Report outcomes, making adjustments based on input from Business Analysts.
- Contribute actively in project meetings, sharing insights and influencing decisions.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of project milestones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Developer with a specialization in AXIOM within the financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulatory reporting standards.
- Expertise in AXIOM Controller View and associated technologies.
- Capability to dissect complex issues and propose innovative solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Understanding of additional financial regulatory reporting platforms and tools.
