About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Designs. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, if required under the state dental practice act.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
