About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Care at Brush Prairie. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment.
  • Diagnostic Assessments: Take and process x-rays, and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Chairside Assistance: Provide superior assistance to supported dentists during various procedures, adhering to the state dental practice act.
  • Administrative Tasks: Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping, manage supply and inventory levels, and place orders as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Qualifications
  • Working Knowledge: Possess a working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Customer-Centric Experience: Have experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • Certifications: If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
