As a Quality Assurance Specialist at North Star Scientific Corporation, you will be responsible for conducting thorough visual and mechanical inspections throughout various stages of the manufacturing process. Your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:
- Perform inspections during Receiving, In-Process, and Final stages to ensure product quality.
- Generate and maintain detailed reports and records related to nonconforming materials.
- Assist in maintaining quality documentation and records.
- Provide valuable input for process improvements and quality enhancements.
- Support inventory control and assist with packaging and shipping tasks as necessary.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with team members across departments.
Key Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
