The Case Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive case management, classification, and transitional services to inmates and residents.

  • Engage in the intake process by gathering, organizing, and evaluating information about individuals.
  • Deliver direct casework services addressing social engagement, health requirements, and community integration for inmates and residents.
  • Prepare and collaborate on various documentation and develop case presentations regarding assigned inmates and residents.
  • Coordinate suitable programming, resources, and services to promote social development and facilitate the transition or release of inmates and residents into the community.
  • Act as the primary contact in the absence of the Unit Manager, when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Experience in providing case management services is preferred. Additional experience in the criminal justice field or related case management services may substitute for educational requirements on a year-for-year basis, up to two years.
  • Must exhibit the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications or similar software is required.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
