Job Summary:The Assembly Support Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing assembly equipment, assisting with 5S maintenance, and completing odd jobs to support the assembly process. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair assembly tooling and fixtures
- Assist with 5S maintenance and upkeep for the assembly department
- Complete odd jobs to support the assembly process and flow
- Assist with assembly line maintenance and line setup/line changes
- Assist with building on any assembly line as needed
- Maintain general knowledge of automated machines and manual toggle presses
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of previous work experience in an assembly environment (Engineering Education is a plus)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of assembly line structure and general assembly fixtures, equipment, tools, and gages
Able to lift up to 40 pounds. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
