Job Title: Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer to join our team at VDart Inc. As a Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data center facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Ensure the proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, UPS, and generators.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor and maintain MEP monitoring tools, including Vertiv Sitescan and APC Data Center Expert/IT Advisor.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents related to data center facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with data center staff, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in data center facilities management, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC, UPS, ATS, and generators; experience with Vertiv Sitescan and APC Data Center Expert/IT Advisor; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Schedule: 40 hours a week with some infrequent overtime.
  • Travel: Occasional travel required to support data center critical facilities activities.
